§ 34-2. Purpose.

The purpose of the solid waste contract arrangement is to promote the common interest of the people of Seminole by establishing, in this chapter and through separate contract agreements, rules, regulations and procedures for the collection, removal and disposal of solid waste materials from residential, commercial mobile home park, and non-residential units and property, and construction/demolition sites and to promote the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens and residents of Seminole by providing adequate waste collection and disposal services through the regulated services of a contractor(s) chosen because of demonstrated qualifications to provide such services to the citizens of Seminole by the most economical means.
